I started the online lectures series "नृत्यानुसंधानम्'' to carry forward our aim and broaden the horizons of knowledge and research about classical dance and culture. Through all the years of learning Bharatanatyam, I have come across a variety of concepts and fields which are associated with classical dance. The dancer renders a seamless and flawless performance when the brilliance of the character is captured by the dancer. The interdisciplinary study of dance with fields like Indology, philosophy, mythology, literature, paintings, poetry facilitates the dancer to present an exemplary performance. It can be said that the knowledge of these associated fields is a sine qua non for a dancer. With this motive in mind, I decided to start this series , with Mettle Innovations as our co-host and Nadroop and Natyhotra as our associates.
